Saffron is a spice obtained from the stigmas of the true saffron flower (Crocus sativus L.), a plant of the Iridaceae family .

This plant is native to Greece or Asia Minor but first cultivated in Greece

Saffron pistils are known for their numerous health benefits . These little orange filaments from the Crocus sativus flower are rich in essential nutrients that can improve the overall well-being of the body.

instructions for use: Place the saffron threads in a cup with very hot water, broth or milk. Cover and leave to infuse for 40-60 minutes. You will see the water turn intense yellow. Pour everything into your recipe, preferably at the end of cooking so as not to cook the saffron. If you don't use the infusion immediately, you can store it for up to 48 hours in the refrigerator.

ingredients (x4 people) : 320 g of penne , 40 g of butter, 40 g of grated parmesan, 1/2 liter of broth vegetable, 0.3g of saffron, 1 white onion, extra virgin olive oil , black pepper , salt .
