It is said that black tea was born in the Wuyi Mountains area of ​​the Fujian region of China. A group of farmers busy with the processing of tea would have forgotten the fresh leaves in the sun to welcome a group of soldiers who suddenly arrived in the village.

To prevent the tea from wilting and spoiling completely, the farmers roasted it with pine leaves and created the completely oxidized variety that we know.
