Amber in color with dark tones, this honey has a less sweet flavor than other types and leaves a slightly salty aftertaste😋.
It has a creamy, caramel-like consistency. Thanks to its enzymes, it helps reduce body temperature and combat fever symptoms.
- To combat a sore throat: Heat the juice of a lemon in a bain-marie, mix in two tablespoons of eucalyptus honey and drink lukewarm👩⚕️.
- Against cough: Dissolve a spoonful of eucalyptus honey in a mint herbal tea🍃🍯☕.
- Perfect to accompany: Fruit or vegetables seasoned simply with oil, lemon and honey🍑🥗🫒🍋🍯.
To produce this type of honey, we practice “nomadism,” moving our hives to the southwest of Sardinia, in Campidano.
This plant flowers in summer and represents an essential source of nutrition for our bees, at a time when other flowers are scarce.
