Made with Senatore Cappelli durum wheat, the ancestor of most Italian durum wheats. Roughly drawn, it creates a porous surface, ideal for holding sauces and condiments. Slowly dried at low temperatures to preserve the grain's nutrients and flavor. Rich in protein and low in saturated fat, they are an excellent nutritional choice.
Directions: Cook Senatore Cappelli Organic Penne Rigate in boiling salted water for 9 minutes until al dente. Perfect for any sauce, from the simplicity of a fresh tomato sauce to the richness of a traditional ragù.
