Hulled Millet ORGANIC

Millet is an ancient cereal, probably originating from India, used for human consumption since Roman times and very widespread in the early Middle Ages. During the Genoese siege of Venice in 1378, millet played a fundamental role in the survival of the population. After the eighteenth century, its cultivation decreased in favor of more productive cereals, but it remains a nutritious and digestible food, still widely used in Asia and Africa.

It is more digestible and quicker to cook than whole millet.
