The use of Lye in washing clothes has very ancient origins, in fact before the current detergents were developed, washing clothes was entrusted to families who usually carried out this work in a nomadic way or was done at home once a month. Lye was produced with wood ash through a long and complex preparation process. From ancient peasant customs comes Lye Tea : a healthy habit of washing clothes in a clean way, with raw materials of natural origin that are completely biodegradable.

How to use: Hand washing: add 4 - 5 tablespoons of Antica Lisciva to 5 litres of warm water.
Washing Machine: for a 5 kg load of laundry, add 1 glass of Antica Lisciva directly to the drum.
